Greece's Minister for Public Order has resigned following intense criticism over how the government handled a deadly forest fire that killed at least 88 people. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras met with Nikos Toskas and accepted his resignation despite him days earlier defending the way authorities handled the disaster. The Prime Minister thanked Mr Toskas for his 'courage' in stepping down. There has been criticism that there was no official evacuation effort and that traffic diversions sent motorists into the burning area.
