Deputy Foreign Minister Ioannis Amanatidis met yesterday, 5 December, at the Foreign Ministry, with the ICRC Regional Director for Europe, Régis Savioz, and the Head of the ICRC Mission in Greece, Sari Nissi. During the meeting, Mr. Amanatidis expressed the Greek government’s gratitude for the ICRC’s assistance to date in dealing with the refugee/migration crisis. Moreover, the meeting looked at the current framework of the ICRC presence in Greece with a view to further strengthening and deepening the cooperation between the two sides.
