Foreign Ministry spokesperson Konstantinos Koutras’ response to journalists’ questions regarding stances against Greece expressed by heads of Slovak political parties during a pre-election televised debate.“Greece’s position in Europe and the handling of an issue as complex as the refugee and migration crisis should not and cannot be the subject of domestic political controversy.Such petty political tactics are obviously aimed at serving political expediencies, but they essentially harm not only Slovakia and its relations with Greece, but also Europe itself.”
