The Alternate Foreign Minister for European Affairs, Nikos Xydakis, met at the Foreign Ministry today with the Spanish Ambassador to Greece, Alfonso Lucini Mateo.During the meeting, which took place in a friendly atmosphere, there was a discussion of issues of common and European interest, with special reference made to modes of cooperation between the two countries of the European south, both bilaterally and on the EU level.The conversation focused, for the most part, on matters concerning the ongoing situation in the refugee/migration issue. The Spanish Ambassador set out his country’s experience with managing migration flows from Africa.
