The German government statement also said Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic told Merkel on Friday about Croatia's efforts "to comply fully with its obligations" in making sure all refugees are being treated humanely. Germany has been among those pushing for new "hot spot" camps in Greece and Italy, where migrants would be registered.
