For the third time this year, Greek citizens cast ballots in a national vote on Sunday. An early vote count showed former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras of the left-wing Syriza party re-elected, according to the BBC. Tsipras had resigned in August when opposition to the international bailout split his party. Vangelis Meimarakis, the candidate from the conservative New Democracy party, conceded his defeat to Tsirpas, The Guardian reported.
