Greece ranks third from the bottom in the “Digital Economy and Society Index” survey conducted by the European Commission. Greece is lagging behind in the digital age and it is almost at the bottom among the 29 European Union countries, faring better than Romania and Bulgaria only. In the question “How digital is your country?”, Greece came 27th. Cyprus was in 23rd place. The top of the list is dominated by three Scandinavian countries, with Denmark in first place, followed by Sweden and Finland.
