The “ultimate dining experience” has finally arrived in Greece. On Valentine’s day, Dinner in the Sky launched with two scheduled “flights” over the Athens sky. It is a simple, successful idea that has been implemented in more than 40 countries across the globe. For the next two months, Dinner in the Sky will be located at Technopolis in Athens. The company plans on winning over the Greek capital and then moving to other places in the country such as Mykonos, Santorini, Crete and Thessaloniki. On its first ever “flight” over the Greek capital, the Dinner in the Sky platform accommodated 22 people, offering them a date they will never forget. Over the course of the next two months, the company plans on scheduling even more meals, breakfast, lunch and even molecular mixology drinks. The dinner price is 120 euros per person, but it will be adjusted accordingly for other meals. Even though the food was spectacular, what actually peaked the attendees’ interest was the breathtaking view. The Acropolis and the Parthenon stood out, enchanting the lucky 22 who were feeling a mixture of awe and fear since they were suspended 50 meters off the ground.
