(AP) — Hamilton, Ohio, has won the top tap water prize at an international tasting contest. Hamilton received the gold medal for Best Municipal Water on Saturday at the 25th anniversary Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting in West Virginia. Organizers of the event say Indigo H20 of Elkhart, Indiana, won the top prize for best purified water. Two entrants from Athens, Greece, also won gold medals. Fengari Platinum received the top prize for best bottled water, and Daphne-Ultra Premium Natural Mineral Sparkling won the gold medal for best sparkling water. Drinking Water Foundation chairman Jack C. West received the 2015 Lifetime Achievement award for his work in the bottled water industry. Water advocate Scott Shipe received the 25th Anniversary Water Classic award for supporting the water tasting for 25 years.
