“We had a detailed discussion about everything. The negotiation is progressing,” Greek Finance Minister Gikas Hardouvelis said on Monday, immediately after a two-hour meeting with Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras. In statements to reporters waiting outside as he left the meeting, Hardouvelis said that there was no 48-hour ultimatum but the government “did not yet know” when the Troika mission representing Greece’s international lenders will return. “We will have time to complete the negotiations within the deadline,” Hardouvelis said in response to questions and, replying to another reporter, denied feeling that he had been “hung out to dry.” (source: ana-mpa)
