Ukraine's Lolita Ananasova and Anna Voloshyna took the silver, just beating Spanish pair Ona Carbonell and Paula Klamburg, who had to settle for bronze. The team free routine final was taking place later Saturday. The Netherlands team of Ferry Weertman, Marcel Schouten and Sharon Van Rouwendaal claimed gold in the open water team 5K swimming event, ahead of Greece and Germany, respectively. Weertmann won the men's 10K race on Thursday, while Rouwendaal won the women's 10K event the day before.
