Greek citizen lies about being injured at Garden State Plaza, flees to Greece, authorities say

A Greek citizen who was shot in the chest fabricated a story about receiving the injury in a crowded parking lot of Westfield Garden State Plaza on New Year’s Eve and then fled to her native country, Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said.
