Angela Merkel blames former chancellor Gerhard Schroder for letting Greece join the euro

The German chancellor blamed her predecessor Gerard Schroeder for the 'wrong' decision' during an election rally in front of 1000 supporters yesterday in the northern German town of Rendsburg.
