Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Konstantinos Vlasis met at his office today, 6 April 2021, with the Armenian Ambassador to Athens, Fadey Charchoghlyan. During the meeting, which took place in a very friendly climate, the two sides underscored the excellent level of bilateral relations and discussed the potential for deepening these relations further. Special reference was made to the Greek and Armenian Diasporas, and in particular to the Greeks residing in Armenia and the Armenians residing in Greece, who are a bridge of friendship between the two states. Also stressed was the need, following the pandemic, to resume in-person meetings on Diaspora issues to further enhance cooperation.
