Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Markos Bolaris met today His Beatitude the Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos III, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Discussions covered a whole range of issues that concern the Patriarchate of Jerusalem. During their cordial conversation, the Deputy Minister expressed the Greek State’s support both to the Patriarchate and his Beatitude personally. They examined the potential to capitalize on the Patriarchate’s prospects, the continuation and strengthening of the Greece’s support for it, as well as the current challenges the Patriarchate faces in the region. His Beatitude was accompanied by the Elder Chief Secretary, the Eminent Archbishop of Constantine, Aristarchus, the father deacon Markos, and the Exarch of the Holy Sepulchre in Greece, the Very Reverend Archimandrite, Damianos.
