Equity prices were falling on Monday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 10.90 percent, standing at 760.24 points at 12:45 am after the failure of the current Parliament to elect a Greek President of the Republic. Turnover was at 50.215 million euros. The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 12.17 percent, and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 9.69 percent.
