Cooperation Wanted: While There is Still Time

Is Greece facing the 'perfect crisis'? It is in the midst of its biggest economic crisis in decades, but on is moving toward destabilization and worse. It is difficult to make a forecast, but the signs are not good. The crisis, despite some very promising elements - i.e. interest on state bonds - does not look like it is going to end any time soon. Instead, as shown by the conflict with the Troika, it may flare up again and especially regarding the social insurance funds. Increasing social unrest poses an even greater danger than the economic crisis and threatens to send the country back several decades. What happened on Nov. 1 ? the murder of two followers of Golden Dawn and the serious wounding of a third ? showed how serious the situation is.
