An expansive working meeting, under the Minister of Foreign Affairs Giorgos Katrougalos, was convened today with a delegation from the United States of America led by Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt, in the context of the Strategic Dialogue between Greece and the U.S., inaugurated in Washington on 13 December 2018. Both sides placed emphasis on strengthening cooperation in the fields of trade and investment, energy, regional economic cooperation and people-to-people ties. It was agreed that there will be close monitoring of the progress, while a specific timetable was set for subsequent related meetings. Both sides praised the momentum in their bilateral relations and confirmed their mutual commitment to further deepen their cooperation.
