Former Swedish PM Carl Bildt warns that appetite for treaty change in EU has diminished since Syriza won the Greek electionDavid Cameron’s hopes of achieving a “full-on” re-writing of the EU’s governing treaties have suffered a severe blow after the election of the Syriza-led government in Greece, the former Swedish prime minister Carl Bildt has warned.In a Guardian interview, Bildt said leading eurozone countries would be wary of handing the new Greek prime minister, Alexis Tsipras, and his rightwing coalition partners the chance to press for changes to the rules governing the single currency.
