A 39-year-old British tourist, whose name hasn’t been announced yet, was killed on Wednesday in a jet ski crash on the island of Santorini. The man had visited the Greek island to spent his honeymoon. The British tourist along with a friend had rented two jet skis in the area of Kamari, where the accident occurred. Due to dangerous handling, the two jet skis crashed, causing the injury of the British man. The owner of the water sports rental and the British tourist’s 29-year-old friend were arrested and will appear before a state prosecutor on the island of Naxos on Friday. A Foreign Office spokesman said, “We are aware of the death of a British national in Greece on the 17th of September. We are providing consular assistance to his family at this sad time. We are aware of the arrest of a British national in Greece and are providing consular assistance.”
