The Museum of Cycladic Art (MCA) Athens, Greece crosses the Atlantic to organize two lectures in the U.S.A. on the occasion of the forthcoming major archaeological exhibition Hygieia: Health, Illness and Treatment from Homer to Galen.
The lectures will present aspects of the exhibition and will be given by its curators, Prof. Nicholas Chr. Stampolidis, Director of the MCA, and Yorgos Tassoulas, Curator of Antiquities of the MCA.
The first event will take place on Nov. 4 at 4 p.m. at the Harvard Medical School, Boston and the second on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. at the American Museum of Natural History, NYC.
The two events belong to the MCA Abroad Program through which the museum raises awareness and promotes the ancient Greek heritage at an international level, shedding light into the significance and marvel of ancient Greek art and culture.
