The unemployment rate remained at 8.1% in January in the Eurozone, while it fell 2 tenths of a percentage point in Spain to 16%, according to Eurostat data. Spain's unemployment level is the second highest in the European Union, second only to Greece's 16.2%, although the Hellenic country has not offered data on its labor market since November.
