Catholics agree, Gospel found in Old Testament

Source: www.wnd.com - Sunday, June 10, 2018 WASHINGTON – While at least one mega-pastor is calling on his flock to downplay the study of the Old Testament, the author of a new book with the opposite point of view says there is renewed interest in how the Hebrew and Greek Scriptures represent one cohesive, fully integrated message of redemption and restoration across the spectrum of Christianity. Joseph Farah, the author of “The Gospel in Every Book of the Old Testament,” newly released in digital form at Amazon.com and the WND Superstore this week and set for hardcover sales beginning in September, says he is pleased at the reception of the book by Catholics, Protestants, Calvinists, Baptists, non-denominationalists, as well as evangelicals. “I consider myself an evangelical, and, naturally, I approached this study from that point of view,” said Farah. “When I was finished, though, knowing the Gospel message links all Christian believers, I was eager to see the reaction from those in other traditions. I have just been amazed by the overwhelmingly positive feedback. One Catholic friend told me he couldn’t put it down and found only one minor point of disagreement with what Catholicism teaches.
