FTSE 100 and 250 hit new highs as UK construction figures beat expections

* UK construction figures show surprise increase in May * Markets boosted by hopes of positive US employment figures 10.34am BST Oil is on the slide, partly thanks to Donald Trump’s decision to pull the US out of the Paris climate agreement.
