George Pappas: What we know for the first Greek Australian Indigenous man

In 1814 a George Papas was born in colonial Sydney. He was recorded as a "Man of Colour", a part Indigenous Australian whose father may have been a visiting Greek sailor (Greeks, particularly Ionian islanders, were conspicuous as crewmen on British vessels).
