Greece says progress in Cyprus peace talks but issues remain

ATHENS (Reuters) - Peace talks in Geneva to resolve the decades-long division of Cyprus were making "positive progress" but crucial issues remained open, Greek government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said on Thursday. The Greek and Turkish Cypriot leaders sat down to reunification talks in Geneva on Monday after 18 months of intensive peace talks. Tzanakopoulos said Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras would attend the talks in Geneva "if there was a prospect for a solution."
