The Greek Embassy in Brasilia was informed yesterday, by the family of the Greek Ambassador to Brazil, Kyriakos Amiridis – who traveled to the city of Rio during the Christmas holiday – that, as of Monday, 26 December, it has not been possible to contact him.Following immediate actions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the full mobilization of all the competent Brazilian authorities was requested, and an investigation was launched to gather more information regarding the case.The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Greek Embassy in Brasilia are monitoring the case closely and, in close cooperation with the Brazilian authorities,...
