Greece: Conquered by Macedonia, Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire, Bulgaria, Ottomans, Italy, Germany

Persia couldn't conquer the freedom-loving Greeks, but a lot of other countries could. Alexander the Great’s father, Philip II, was the first to do it. After that that the Romans had their turn, followed by the Byzantine (technically Roman) Empire.
