3.8 Richter Earthquake on Santorini

A shallow earthquake occurred on the Greek island of Santorini at 7:38 a.m. on Monday. The shallow quake had a focal depth estimated at only 10 kilometers. There was no damage reported from the 3.8 earthquake. Earthquakes have historically caused widespread damage across central and southern Greece, Cyprus, Sicily and other neighboring regions.
