Families of passengers on board of missing EgyptAir flight flock to Cairo airport Ambulances arrived at the air services building where the families are gathering. Families are also gathering at Charles de Gaulle Airport where the flight departed from, Youm7 reported. A high state of alert was announced at Egypt’s air, land and sea ports after the EgyptAir flight disappeared over Egyptian airspace early Thursday, according to Youm7. The flight had 66 people on board, including 10 crew members. EgyptAir confirmed the nationalities of the passengers as 30 Egyptians, 15 French, two Iraqis and one passenger each from the U.K., Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Chad, Portugal, Algeria, Canada and Belgium.
