Former Knoxville Greek church treasurer pleads guilty in embezzlement scheme

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – The former treasurer of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Knoxville pleaded guilty Friday in an embezzlement scheme and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Constantine Dimitri Christodoulou, 48, pleaded guilty to theft over $60,000.
