Time Running Out As Greece Teeters On The Brink

Leaders from the eurozone will meet in Brussels today at an emergency summit as negotiators scramble for a deal which could prevent Greece from exiting the single currency. A finance ministry spokesman told Sky News that "90% of technical detail" has been sorted, but there remain differences over debt relief and short-term financing to help Greece meet its financial commitments. Greece has been kept afloat by two bailouts totalling 240bn euros, but the programme is due to expire at the end of June, on the same day the country owes 1.6bn euros to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
