Greece Teeters Along The Brink As Catharsis Takes Time, Debt Deal Is Less Painful Than Grexit

Greece is set to miss IMF payments and has postponed a deadline in debt talks with the international fund, the European Union and ECB as negotiations over a comprehensive debt deal remain frayed. Any debt deal will be painful for Greece and the Greeks. The EU, ECB – led by Germany – and IMF should show some leniency. If anybody could sell a debt deal to the Greek people, it would have to be PM Alexis Tsipras as a new Hercules, clearing the Augean Stables.
