Greece Makes €200 Million Loan Payment to IMF

While Greek debt talks continue and the ECB’s governing council discusses whether to give Greek banks emergency cash, Greece paid today an IMF loan repayment for €200 million ($212 million). Another tranche is due next week, worth €750 million. On Tuesday, the Greek government said that serious disagreements between the IMF and the EU are obstructing negotiations for a much-needed deal between Greece and its lenders.
