European Alert for 4-Year-Old That Went Missing in Athens

The strange disappearance of 4-year-old Ani Borisova who got lost in Omonia Square, central Athens on April 21, has alerted European authorities who are currently conducting extensive investigations within and outside of Greece in order to locate the young girl. Furthermore, the organization Smile of the Child has already been involved in the investigation and sent out a pan-European Amber Alert. Ani Borisova originates from Bulgaria, she has brown hair and eyes and according to her birth certificate her father’s name is unknown. Her disappearance was reported by her Bulgarian mother at the Police Department in Omonia, Athens. The girl’s strange disappearance has caused concern to the authorities who are struggling to find out what exactly happened. According to the mother’s report, she had left her child with a friend for a few days in order to travel to Bulgaria. Upon her return she was informed that her friend had taken the child out for a walk and lost her. The fact that the mother only knew her friend’s first name has caused suspicion among the Greek officials who have undertaken the case. Any information on the whereabouts of 4-year-old Ani Borisova can be provided to the organization Smile of the Child throughout the day and night, as well as at the European line for disappearances (116000), and all police stations across Greece.
