Euroleague Olympiakos: Sold-Out Crowd Against Barcelona

All tickets are sold-out for the upcoming Olympiakos home game against Barcelona for the Euroleague playoffs. Leading the series 2-1, the Pireaus club needs one more win to make it to the 2015 Final-4. Panathinaikos is out of the tournament after its third loss to CSKA so now all hopes are passed on to the Reds to bring back the trophy to Greece. Aiding the situation will be the ecstatic fans who will fill up SEF (Stadio Eirinis kai Filias – Peace and Friendship Stadium) for the second time in three days. More than 15,000 supporters are expected to assist the 2012 and 2013 champions to the win and the subsequent ticket to the 2015 Madrid Final-Four. No headaches for head-coach Giannis Sferopoulos, as all his players are well and ready. The 48-year-old will become the 7th Greek coach to lead a club to the Final Four if he wins “tomorrow’s war” as he himself described it. The game will begin at 10pm Athens time / 3pm EST.
