Schism between Germany and Greece grows wider by the day

Rift between EU partners and verbal sparring of their finance ministers will only result in Greece collapsing or abandoning the euroIt is the politics of the playground. The German finance minister, Wolfgang Schäuble, calls his Greek counterpart Yanis Varoufakis “foolishly naive” in his dealings with the media. Athens lodges a formal complaint with Berlin, saying a minister of a country that is a “friend and ally” cannot go around insulting a colleague.Ya boo to that, says Jens Weidmann, the president of Germany’s Bundesbank.
