Greek Satanist Asimakis Katsoulas Released from Jail

The leader of a Satanist group -known as the Palini Satanists- Asimakis Katsoulas was released from jail after 20 years. The group comprised of three members, two of which -Dimitra Margieti and Manos Dimitrokalis- were released a few years earlier. In December 1993, Greek authorities became aware of the group’s illegal activity. The three young Satanists were found guilty of murdering two women, 14-year-old Dora Syropoulou and 28-year-old Garoufalia Giourga, in a series of dark magic ceremonies in August 1992 and August 1993. Margeti was accused of complicity and was released in 2001, while Dimitrokalis served 2/3 of his sentence and was released last year. Katsoulas, also known as “Black Angel” or “Lucifer’s son,” was serving a life sentence plus 12 months. The defendants were brought before the Joint Court of Athens, according to an indictment from the Misdemeanors Council in June 1995. Katsoulas was released from the rural Agia prison in Chania, Crete, 10 months after his appeal. According to Greek website “Parapolitika,” Katsoulas has been asked to report to a regional police station outside Attica twice a month and not leave the country, while he will also be discreetly monitored by Greek authorities. Furthermore, authorities have also limited the number of people he can make contact with, since four years ago he was involved in a case where two underage girls were victims of sexual harassment via telephone.
