Greek Government Will Continue with Same Determination

The Greek government meeting chaired by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras ended on Saturday evening, with ministers agreeing that an important step has been taken at the Eurogroup. “We continue with the same determination and composure, remaining faithful to the popular mandate,” government sources said right after the meeting. During the meeting, Tsipras and Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis briefed ministers on the agreement achieved with the country’s partners and then continued to discuss the list of reforms that will be sent to the EU on Monday. As he was leaving, Varoufakis expressed optimism that the list being prepared by the government will be accepted. He said the three institutions will decide with a “Yes” or a “No” and that in case of a negative reply, the Eurogroup will convene again. (source: ana-mpa)
