After all the fuss regarding the Greek Prime Minister’s twitter account which had not been updated, the profile photo was finally changed and the new Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras made his first tweet. In his first tweet Alexis Tsipras repeated the political oath that he made before the President of the Hellenic Republic, that he will respect the Greek Constitution and serve the interests of the Greek people. “I assure you in my honor and conscience that I will uphold the Constitution and the laws and that I will always serve the interests of the Greek people,” he wrote.
