New Greek Poll: SYRIZA Increases Lead Over New Democracy to 6.5 Points

According to new poll results conducted by the University of Macedonia, Greece, for “SKAI” television from January 17 to 18, main opposition SYRIZA has increased its lead over ruling coalition partner New Democracy to 6.5 points. Based on the replies of 1,041 people on their voting preference, the poll produced the following results (with previous percentages in parentheses): – SYRIZA 33.5% (31.5%) – New Democracy 27% (27%) – To Potami 7.5% (6.5%) – Greek Communist Party KKE 5.5% (6%) – Golden Dawn 5.5% (6%) – PASOK 4.5% (3%) – Independent Greeks ANEL 3% (3%) – KIDISO 1.5% (2%) – Democratic Left DIMAR 0.5% (0.5%) – ANTARSYA 0.5% (1%) It should also be noted that 8% of the respondents were undecided.
