Turkish Aircraft Flies Over Rhodes on Christmas

A Turkish electronic warfare CN-235 aircraft flew southeast of Rhodes on Christmas day. The Turkish aircraft’s flight over Rhodes and in Athens FIR shows a change in Ankara’s behavior, which has now become bolder. The Turkish electronic warfare CN-235 aircraft type entered Athens FIR without warning and without submitting the relevant request for authorization to Greek authorities and it flew southeast of Rhodes. Greek Air Force Radars recorded the traffic rules violation. According to the Greek General Staff of Defense, the Turkish plane was recognized in accordance with international standards.
