Bono Visits Mykonos and Patmos

U2 frontman Bono is one of the many celebrities who chose the beautiful Greek islands for their vacation. The U2 singer, along with his wife Ali Hewson, chose the islands of Mykonos and Patmos to spend their summer holidays. After visiting the French Riviera to attend Madonna’s 56th birthday, the couple arrived in Greece with their luxurious yacht to enjoy the sea and sun. Bono is one of the world’s best-known philanthropic performers and was named the most politically effective celebrity of all time by the National Journal. He has been characterized as “the face of fusion philanthropy” both for his success of enlisting powerful allies from the political, religious and business world as well as for leading new organizational networks that bind global humanitarian relief with geopolitical activism and corporate commercial enterprise.
