Golden Dawn MP Nikos Kouzilos in Jail
Nikos Kouzilos is the seventh Member of Parliament for Golden Dawn to see his way to jail. The MP is suspected of committing new offenses. After the Member of Parliament’s deposition the investigating judges and the prosecutor will address charges of joining and directing a criminal organization and he will be detained in custody. In the Golden Dawn case files there are clues and photographs in particular, that prove Kouzilos’s participation in the attacks at the anarchist’s hangout “Resalto,” four months after Pavlos Fyssas was murdered. In a statement, Elias Kasidiaris referred to the detaining of the MP’s as a crime of justice and as an art of dictatorship by Samaras and Venizelos. He also said that the more members of Golden Dawn taken into custody, the easier it could be for the other parties to approve measures that are potentially harmful to the Greek nation.
