Bexhill Tennis Club Holiday in Lemnos

Bexhill Tennis Club was founded in 1892 and is the oldest surviving club in the town. It lays in Egerton Park where courts were first laid down in 1888. Membership is open to all and its members enjoy an active social calendar including Tennis Holidays at home and abroad. This year Bexhill Club visited Lemnos, a Greek island in the northern part of the Aegean Sea. The tennis Club spent a week there engaging in Nielson activity holidays. All members were trained by professional coaches every day and enjoy social tennis games in the afternoons. Other sport activities such as sailing, cycling, water skiing and swimming were also available to the Club’s members. Club Chairman Hilary Rhodes stated “We enjoyed the break in the run up to our summer season of social events plus three tournaments and in addition for this year, we will be supporting Bexhill’s Roaring Twenties celebrations in July by playing in period costumes and with wooden racquets!”
