Greece’s Alpha, Piraeus Banks Start $4 Billion Share Sales (1)

Alpha Bank A.E. (ALPHA) and Piraeus Bank SA (TPEIR), two of Greece’s biggest lenders, started selling 3 billion euros ($4 billion) of shares, bolstering capital as the nation’s recovery from the sovereign-debt crisis gains momentum.
