The Geodynamic Institute of Athens, Greece has reported that a 4.5 magnitude earthquake was documented at around 12.34 today, about 12 kilometers west of Argostoli and at a depth of 5 kilometers. The latest earthquake was felt in Lixouri and surrounding villages. However, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the earthquake was of 4.7 Richter and its epicenter was 17 km northwest of Argostoli.
