It only looks like the boat to Hades that Greece seems to be on these years, with six years of recession, record unemployment, crushing poverty, slashed pensions, the young fleeing the country, doctors and professional in exodus and $325 billion in two bailouts doing almost nothing to right the economy.
It?s really just the fog marring the view of the White Tower, a 16th Century monument in the northern Greek port of Thessaloniki, a common occurrence this time of the year there. It could just be obscuring hopes for a recovery too though and if someone wants to get on this boat they?d better heed the advice: Don?t Pay the Ferryman.
