Snipers on the rooftops as Angela Merkel visits crisis-torn Greece
Thousands of police will be deployed on the streets of Athens today - backed up by snipers on the rooftops - as Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor visits a country where she has been vilified as the embodiment of a "fourth Reich".
